Sennen Cove is a small coastal
village in Cornwall approx. one mile from Land's End. The village
now dependent mainly on tourism has a surf shop, pub, gift shop,
art gallery and cafes.
Sennen Cove Harbour supports a small fleet of commercial fishing
boats and is home to a fleet of small pleasure fishing boats.
Longships Lighthouse
Situated one mile out to the west of Land's End, established in
1795 on Carn Bras, the largest of the Longships Rocks and replaced
in 1875 with the present lighthouse. It was automated in 1988

Sennen Cove
Approx. 2 miles from Land's End, long bay of golden sand, rock pools
at low tide, good for surfing, for the experienced surfer the reef
known as the Cowloes about 100metres of shore has decent swells,
although still a bit of an unknown and seems to have lots of semi-submurged
rocks in the wrong places. Lifeguards throughout the summer months,
car park, toilets, surf rescue equipment, cafe, shop and surf hire.
Gwenver Beach
Approx. one mile north-east of Sennen Cove, secluded, good for surfing.
Lifeguard from spring to end of September. Car park.
Nanjizal Cove Beach
Approx. one mile to the south-east of Land`s End. Depending on the
tides there is a sandy beach or just rock. There are no facilities.
Land's End
On the Penwith peninsula is the most south westerly point of the
British mainland. From here there are lovely coastal views along
the coastal path, rocky formations which include Enys Dodman an
arched rock.

Sennen
A coastal village in Cornwall, at the western tip of the Penwith
peninsula approx 8 miles from Penzance.
St. Sennen Parish Church
Dating from the 15th century. There is a wall-painting which was
discovered during restoration in 1867.
St. Buryan
Village on the Penwith peninsula in Cornwall, approx. five miles
from Penzance. It is situated in an Area of Outstanding Beauty
and designated a conservation area..
St. Buryan Church
Dates from the 15th,16th and 19th centuries.
Boscawen-Un
Stone Circle approx one and half miles from St. Buryan. Nineteen
unevenly spaced stones, thought to be an astronomical alignment.
The stones vary in height, the central stone leans at quite an
angle.
The Merry Maidens
Stone Circle approx. two miles from the village consists of nineteen
granite megaliths

One can be found in the churchyard and the other in the centre
of St. Buryan.
