Holywell Bay in north Cornwall is a family orientated
holiday resort, approx. 6 miles from Newquay. From the beach you
can see Gull Rocks. To the northwest of Holywell Beach is Penhale
Camp, an army training centre. To the north of the beach is Holywell
Cave which contains pools formed by a natural build up of minerals,
the Cave is only accessible at low tide. There are three shops (closed
out of season) and two inns, Treguth Inn is a 14th century thatched
pub.
Cubert village, is approx. one and a half miles away, and has a
post office with general store, shop and restaurant.
